In this course, I will be covering everything you need to know in order to plan, prepare and deliver your course. Over the next 2 hours, I’ll cover topics ranging from script writing, presentation skills and set design to more technical topics such as lighting and video editing.
If you’ve always wanted to create an online course but been unsure about where to start then you’ve definitely come to the right place and your timing is perfect as the worldwide e-learning market is exploding right now and is projected to be worth $325 Billion by 2025.
As we’re going to be spending quite a lot of time together, I think it’s best I introduce myself… my name is Max and I am a professional actor, videographer, photographer and entrepreneur. I’ve taken many online courses over the years which have helped me to scale my videography business from nothing to becoming my full-time job.
The problem with traditional videography is that it requires a very large investment to get yourself going which is overkill for the average online course creator. An iPhone with some extra equipment will be more than enough to create an awesome looking course.
That is why in this course, not only will I teach you how to plan, film and edit your course, but I’m also going to keep to a budget of £1000, using just your iPhone with some budget-conscious accessories.
Your time is precious so I’ve kept each video as short as possible, including only the highest quality content and useful insights. In just over 2 hours of tuition, plus some homework, you can expect to become a pro course creator.
So let’s start from the “why”.
Why would you use your iPhone for creating an online course?
First off, you already own an iPhone which possesses a camera capable of recording in high definition or even 4K quality. Why wouldn’t you use this?
Furthermore, it is simple to use the camera app – you don’t need to be a professional videographer to just point and shoot. The native camera app has some incredible built-in features that mean you have to worry much less about the camera settings, allowing you to focus on everything else.
It’s also an all in one device! You don’t need to buy a separate camera, lens and computer to do all of your work, you can do everything with your iPhone. This means that you can edit on the go, on a train or on a plane from the device in your pocket and it is also much easier on the wallet.
It’s also discreet and less intimidating. People feel a lot more relaxed and present naturally when being filmed with an iPhone compared with a large intimidating camera.
I will be shooting the whole of this course on an iPhone to demonstrate the quality you can achieve using the device sitting in your pocket. Even top Hollywood Directors use their iPhones for filmmaking on occasion, so if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us!
Let’s do this!
